Project Pigeon: The Peculiar Pilots of WW2 depicts a little known story involving the marriage of scientific research and natural instinct. Renowned behaviourist B.F. Skinner came up with the unusual idea to recruit pigeons for the war effort. This 2 minute animation tells their story of how these improvised pilots were trained and why the mission never got off the ground.
